How to Get Producers on Your Movie if You Don’t Have a Manager Yet (video 1 of 3)

If you’re a writer or director, and you don’t have a manager yet, this video is for you.

Why?

Because you don’t need representation to attach a producer to your movie. (Which is good news for un-repped writer/directors as it means you can take ACTION on your career and your dreams right now without waiting!)

Producers NEED YOU. They need great projects, they need great scripts, they need great writers and directors.

And you need the momentum they can bring you and your work. It will build heat for your entire career.

In this video I share a few key tips that anyone can do, at any level, to interest producers in your work.

And then once you get a producer attached, and get your movie made, then you stand a much better chance of, not just getting a manager- but getting a very high quality manager and/or agent.

Because they’ll be able to WATCH your work! And read the press you get. And they love that.

I share this to bring you some hope- in case you thought contests are the only path. They are a viable path! But fellowships and contests are for winners. This is something you can do for your own career, right now, to get your movie made. And then it will help you get representation.

I hope you enjoy this video!

Please leave a comment below, and share it with any of your friends and colleagues it will serve.

Thanks so much, and I hope to see you in the Entertainment Business School.
